Considering the size of this monster burger Big Ben seems like an apt name for it. Speaking of Big Ben yesterday I read that the diameter of the four faces is the same as the length of a London bus,but after checking I found that to be a 4 foot exaggeration as the faces are 23 feet and the shorter buses are 27 feet. Back to the subject at hand...the George Pub and Grill in Durham county just reopened after a fire earlier in the year and to kick off the opening are offering the Big Ben Number 10 which consists of 10 burgers topped with bacon and cheese and a side of fries for $34.90. That is over 3 pounds of meat not counting the bacon and 12,000 calories. The owner advises customers to eat at their own risk,but that didn't deter a competitive eater who completed the burger in 21 minutes and 56 seconds and said it was the best burger he ever had.
