Is that Pi or Puses?

Platypuses are extraordinary looking animals with unusual habits that match their looks. When it comes time to mate the male shows his interest by biting the female's tail,if she isn't interested she runs away, if she is interested she bites his tail. The couple then perform an intricate mating ritual that looks  like synchronized swimming and can go on for 6 weeks.once the mating is completed the male takes off leaving the female to burrow into a nest where she lays 2-3 eggs which she incubates for 6-10 days. Once the puggles hatch they are completely vulnerable and in need of nourishment as their eggs supply very little, that is when the mom starts oozing milk through her skin similar to how humans sweat. The puggles grow quickly and are ready to leave the burrow when they reach the 4 month mark though they aren't considered adults until they are around 1 year old.

Today's post is dedicated to my friend Sandy who loves all critters.
