What do you suppose has happened to all the detritus from people climbing Mt. Everest all these years? It's still there! Yes, that's right in the typical fashion of the entitled no one ever considered cleaning up after themselves so the Nepal government is funding a group of soldiers and Sherpas who have so far removed 11 tons of garbage and 4 dead bodies, yes they even left the fallen behind. Since the peak was first conquered in 1953 thousands have climbed and left behind whatever they didn't see fit to carry out. They estimate there's another 40-50 tons left to be dragged out and recycled if possible. And now humans are doing the same thing on the moon.
