Use Found for Men's Cologne!

They have finally found a use for men's cologne (other than making me choke and cough!). It involves big cats, both in captivity and the wild. In the wild they are using it to attract jaguars both for photo ops and in gathering a more precise estimate of their population. The use was discovered at the Bronx Zoo where they employed several different scents to keep the cats stimulated. The choice among the captive cats was Calvin Klein's Obsession, they spent around 11 minutes longer on that fragrance that any of the other smells offered. One of the ingredients of Obsession is civetone,a chemical that imitates the scent glands of the civet which they use to mark their territory. The other scent used in the cologne is vanilla, hmm maybe the cats are curious because they smell cookies!
Researchers from Bronx Zoo in New York discovered that large cats including cheetahs, jaguars, pictured, and panthers are attracted in various degrees to different scents
The Calvin Klein fragrance, pictured, is popular with jaguars and other large cats because it contains a chemical taken from the scent glands of nocturnal cats from Asia and Africa
