Maybe I've become cynical over the years but some of the proposal stunts that have been performed leave me wondering about the sanity of the individuals involved. The most recent example was a 35 year old Oklahoma man on July 4th (also his birthday) who after being arrested for six felony warrants asked the officers to allow him to propose to his girlfriend. Not only did they permit his request they also moved the handcuffs to the front so he could put the ring on her finger. Not only did the woman in question say "yes" she bailed him out the following day. Let this be an illustration that not all police encounters end badly.
