Technically instead of police I guess it would be fashion umpire because that is who is in charge of insuring players at Wimbledon have on white underwear under their tennis whites. I get that a rule is a rule but that doesn't mean I understand this one. I suppose it goes far enough into the past where things such as underwear should not be seen or noticed even under tennis whites. The humorous part is out of the three men who had to change into white underwear all three won their matches. Venus Williams was also asked to change out of her pink sports bra. I wonder if they would call "foul" if the players were without underwear?
