It seems like every area has that one black hole where accidents happen more often than they should and nothing seems to improve the problem. In a busy shopping center at Sage Hill, Calgary once lived the Sage Hill Rock who regardless of yellow curbs and its solid character attracted cars like a magnet attracts iron filings. The rock was originally placed to prevent people from driving over the curb but the rock did its job poorly as people took to running into the rock instead. Many people protested the removal of the Sage Hill Rock citing the entertainment value.
