An Ontario,Canada man posted a six year old McDonald's cheeseburger and fries on eBay with the description,"never eaten" or even refrigerated. He went on to say,"the fries are stunningly good looking,they look like they were purchased this morning." "The burger itself has darkened and the bun is hard as a hockey puck,but cosmetically it looks brand new." The man had done this as an experiment to prove or disprove the rumor that McDonald's food doesn't decompose,as a control to the experiment he placed a homemade burger and fries next to the McDonald's food and nothing is left of them but charcoal like lumps. The bidding for the 6 year old meal started at $22.91 with bids reaching $62.65 with six days left in the auction.
