Perhaps in a effort to garner a level of normal weird as opposed to the usual Florida brand of weird a group of unknown people have adopted a couch that was abandoned on a sidewalk in West Melbourne. The residents started adding items such as a throw rug,coffee table,curtains,a house plant and various other living room type paraphernalia, plus a man running for city council held an interview in the outdoor seating,he also suggested visitors to "the couch" bring canned foods for the local food bank. City officials have not revealed whether they have plans to remove the couch and its accessories.
