An 82 year old man from India flew to New York to have his nails cut,"why", you ask? The collective length of the nails on his left hand was 29 feet and 10 inches and couldn't be cut with regular nail clippers plus Guinness World Records wanted to record the event to be included with the nails on display. The nails had been growing since 1952 when he accidentally bumped into his teacher and broke the teacher's long pinkie nail,the teacher scolded him saying he had no idea how long it took to grow and care for the nail,so he set out to do just that. Unfortunately he has lost most use of his left hand from having to keep it immobile all those years,sleeping was also a problem as the hand would start throbbing after about a half an hour and he would have to move it to the other side of the bed. I have no idea what he did for a living,nor how much the nails actually weighed as it was never mentioned.
