A 71 year old man in good health with no financial concerns and described by friends and family as always fun to be around planned his own murder. Inspired by a 2003 CSI episode he slowly collected the materials he needed. He took off for his morning walk/coffee at 5:53 a.m. and a gun shot was heard around 6:30,the body was found near his country club around 7. He had taken a gun,tied it to a weather balloon and shot himself. The only telltale clue was a line of blood across his sweatshirt that looked like it had been made by a string. After searching his computer and seeing recent purchases the detectives were able to piece together the crime,of course the gun was never recovered as according to calculations it would have burst somewhere over open ocean. Oh,did I mention this happened in Florida?
