In the interest of giving equal time to stupid criminals no matter where they call home today's post includes a 26 year old man (maybe from outside Oregon?) who decided it was a good idea to steal bicycles for a living. After being caught on three separate occasions he went to the front of the Gladstone,OR police department and used a pair of bolt cutters to cut the bike lock while the police watched him on surveillance cameras. One of the officers went out and met the would be thief with a Taser at which time he was ready to cooperate. I certainly hope this isn't any indication that Oregon is the new Florida.
