Watchdog?

If size were a factor in making a dog dangerous Mastiffs would be near the top of the list since they are both tall and heavy, picture a small pony without hooves. These big dogs were originally bred to protect estates though the ones today are mainly calm and amiable. Which brings me to today's subject,Benton is a 150 lb mastiff owned by a nurse  in Wisconsin who purchased him for protection. On New Years Day she woke up to a surprise guest cuddled up with Benton in his doggy bed. Once officers arrived and woke the man they found he was a neighbor who mistakenly entered the wrong place and was also still quite intoxicated. The police helped the man into his home and no charges were filed though Benton's reputation as a guard dog is now in question.
