Cowbra? Zcow?

Japanese Scientists have discovered a way to reduce pesticide use on cows, bizarre as it sounds they paint stripes on the cows. After several years of studying why the biting flies didn't bother zebras or black and white surfaces in general, it was found that the polarization of the light impairs the flies perception. Painted with stripes lowers the animals being bitten by 50%. Fly bites are estimated to cost billions of dollars a year in the cattle industry, the bites cause stress and risks of injury.  I'm all for anything that lessens pesticide use but who knew?
