Texas Style

What has Harris County Texas done with their $27.7 million election budget after it was increased seven fold in 2016? They tripled early voting locations to 120 including the contested drive-thru voting and added sites that are open 24/7. For those who waited for election day to vote they had a variety of choices (800),funeral homes, schools, stadiums, libraries, community centers and a LGBTQ bar named Buddy's where drag queens lip synched songs and roller skated in the parking lot. The voting area was on the dance floor and was separated from the drinking area by a garage door to provide privacy.
