Twenty-two Dutch students built an electric car entirely out of waste,including plastics fished out of the ocean,recycled PET bottles and household garbage. The bright yellow sporty looking car took the students 18 months to complete and still has a few things that need work for it to be practical transportation,right now Luca (the car's name) can only go 56 MPH for 136 miles but still it is encouraging to think that our waste products could eventually be put to a use other than pollution.
