Ironically a high school in Illinois called "Rich Township High School" apparently weren't rich enough to hire a vendor to make the graduation stoles without a spelling error and never mind that the school didn't notice the spelling mistake either. They had passed out the stoles and some of the students had already finished their part in the ceremony when one family noticed the word Gradutate on the stole instead of Graduate. So not only did the manufacturer drop the ball the very people in charge of the students weren't clever enough to catch the mistake. It seems possible to me that the stoles had been made in another country where the mistake went unnoticed though the vendor took full credit and will mail the corrected items out to all the students. Oh well it will give the graduates a good laugh when they are older.
