Hawaiian pizza divides the masses into fans and haters though it's only a pizza, nothing to get too excited about but other than pineapple its origin has nothing to do with Hawaii. Hawaiian pizza was the product of a Greek immigrant in Ontario, Canada who used canned pineapple as a novelty topping in 1962. It slowly gained popularity in parts of the world and was the most popular pizza in Australia in 1999. Toad in the hole contains neither toads nor frogs, no dogs were used to create hot dogs and Welsh rarebit aka rabbit contains no meat and is nothing more than cheese sauce broiled on bread.
