White Out?

Not the blizzard kind of white out and not the correction aid Wite Out. Today's White Out is in case not everyone got the memo that it's okay to wear white after Labor Day. The no white after Labor Day was carried out for about a century even though it was started more as a status symbol than any practical reason other than wearing white is cooler in the summer. Now for a Labor Day trivia fact...even though the first Labor Day celebrations were in New York, Oregon was the first state to officially recognize the holiday on February 21, 1887 by reserving the first Saturday in June for the occasion. It wasn't until 1894 that Congress made Labor Day a national holiday. Oh, does anyone use Wite Out anymore?
