Your next thought may be is it a real bank? and yes it is a real bank with most,if not all amenities,including a FDIC membership. The first Tightwad Bank opened in 1984 but after two armed robberies in the 1990's it closed its doors. In 2008 the bank reopened under new ownership,the new owners are from Kansas City where they grew bored running a sober-sided bank.
