It never ceases to amaze me that either the vetting process for so many youth leader programs is sorely lacking or that the people who volunteer to lead could be that good at deception,and then there's the why would they do things to harm innocent kids? A 26 year old Kentucky woman picked up $15,000 worth of Girl Scout Cookies and disappeared with the goods. It is unknown at this time if she may have picked up another troop's cookies in addition to cookies for her troop as the amount of boxes would be 3,750 which seems like a lot of cookies for one troop. The kids are now stuck with the bill and have no way of making the money. Not the kind of lesson one hopes a child will learn in scouting. What on earth would a person do with that many cookies?
