I can't help being amused by the stunning stupidity of people when it comes to lawsuits. Do they actually believe they have been so wronged that a company will hand over millions of dollars to silence their complaints? Once again Florida is left out of the equation to spotlight California and a particular nut case who claims Jelly Belly (jelly beans) tricked her into thinking their Sport Beans contained no sugar. The Jelly Belly company is not too concerned as the Sport Beans are clearly labeled in the nutrition facts to contain sugar,but the sue happy woman insists that evaporated cane juice listed in the ingredients was misleading. I'm left wondering why she didn't just get the sugar free Jelly Belly beans and call it good? Oh well this just supports the fact that a person can sue for anything and many do, passing the companies losses on to the rest of the consumers.
