Tiffany's recently released their "Everyday Objects" collection to a mostly chilly reaction. The idea was to offer quality and craftsmanship to common items that can be used everyday. Examples include: a $9,000 ball of sterling silver yarn,a $1,000 sterling silver tin can (something everyone uses everyday!),a $95 paper cup( bone china),a $950 sterling silver paper plate, a $250 sterling silver crazy straw, a $750 sterling silver and enamel marker pen,a set of two walnut and sterling silver ping pong paddles and a sterling and walnut yo-yo for the low introductory price of $300! I know it's the type of business they're in but it just seems so wrong when so many other things could use the attention and never mind the money.
