Saintly Statue

It is understandable after the revelations of sexual abuse by priests in the Catholic church that the  committee who had okay-ed the two dimensional plans for a statue of a priest giving a young boy a loaf of bread were embarrassed by the three dimensional results. The statue depicted St. Martin de Porres who was the son of a Spanish nobleman and a freed slave. He is the patron saint of mixed race, barbers, public health workers and innkeepers. The statue was made in Vietnam but is being kept under wraps until a local sculptor can redesign it. Personally I don't think it was that suggestive, however the loaf of bread looked more like a large potato to me.
