The Lake Superior State University in Michigan has released the annual list of words and phrases that are misused,overused or useless. Out of over 1,500 nominations the judges narrowed it down to the top ten with the number one spot going to GOAT. If I had been judging I would have argued for "It is what it is" which in my opinion is another way of saying,"I'm out of excuses and don't care."
