Remember Troll Dolls? The original Troll Doll was carved by Thomas Dam as a gift for his daughter. He knew he didn't have enough money to by her a toy so he studied Nordic fairly tales and found his inspiration for the doll in them. The first Trolls came stateside in the late 1950's and by the 1960's they were an American craze. Today the most valuable Troll Dolls come from the original manufacturer,Dam Things and were first known as Dammits. Fast forward...Today a Dammit doll is a stuffed somewhat human like doll made with the express purpose of bashing it into the wall (or whatever is handy) to vent your anger. Of course there are those who consider it unhealthy to bash anything in anger and suggest counseling instead...to those people I say,"Don't knock it until you've bashed it!"
