Library To the Rescue

Unless you live in a cave you've probably heard parents complaining that their children need to be taught basic life skills in school. I'm not sure how they expect the teachers to work something the parents should be teaching at home into an already crowded schedule, but a lot of them do. That's where a library in North Bend,Oregon stepped up to the plate by offering a once weekly class in "Adulting 101". I think I know where things ran amok with the millennials, the parents were so busy trying to keep the kids busy and out of trouble they forgot about teaching them the basics. I imagine libraries have other things they could be doing with the time devoted to the Adulting class but they always seem to be there to pick up the ball when it comes to helping people learn.
