The more I find out what ingredients are used in some of the "craft" concoctions the more I think I'll just stay with the tried and true. A New Hampshire distillery recently released Eau De Musc 88 proof bourbon given its distinct leathery,rich,slightly fruity flavor from scent oils from the castor sacs of beavers. If it sounds like something you would enjoy a 6.7 ounce bottle can be purchased for $65,which isn't even a measuring cup full,in fact I'm trying to decide if they have come out with a new size in booze bottles since the airline size is 50 ml. All that aside the beaver trapper who supplied the castoreum to the distillery said the product is used in a lot of items and if you have had anything that lists "natural flavors"you've already tasted beaver scent oils.
