A new Guinness record was set on June 9th when 2,505 women in Ireland went skinny dipping in 53 degree water for a local cancer charity. The previous record was in 2015 in Perth,Australia when 786 people participated. The event was started six year ago when the organizer was diagnosed with breast cancer. She contacted family and friends telling them," I only have one boob and I'm bald,so what's your excuse?" That first year drew 60 women. The event is open to women cancer patients,survivors,and those otherwise affected by the disease.
