Today's post is not something that happens everyday,at least I hope not. A Kelowna,BC woman and her son were sitting in her car at a stoplight when the were splattered by feces through the sunroof. They had noticed a large passenger plane overhead when they looked to see where the offending matter was coming from. The smell immediately identified the matter as liquid poop,the woman contacted the local airport and was told that the government would look into the matter of what they called "blue ice" falling from an aircraft at that time,the investigation is ongoing. I thought things like this were well behind us,but apparently the holding tanks can have faulty valves that allow the waste matter to seep out and freeze to the outside of the plane. The department doesn't keep track of "blue ice" incidents but are looking at three planes that were in the area at that time.
