A lot of people think that slang is a relatively new invention but slang has been around as long as language. Today I will resurrect a few slang words from the Victorian era. Gas pipes were the Victorian version of skinny jeans. Muffin-walloper was an unmarried woman who gossips, usually over tea and cake. Fly rink was a bald head,this one is my favorite because it makes me smile. Gigglemug was someone who smiles a lot and is fun to be around. This next one should be put back into use as it is a good fit with current times,podsnappery is willful ignorance of facts that don't align with personal views. Got the Morbs is just what it sounds like,being down in the dumps. Feel free to incorporate any or all of these into your daily repertoire.
