Does anyone remember Octomom? The woman who had 8 babies by in-vitro-fertilization adding to her other 6 kids also conceived through IVF and most people wondered why a doctor agreed to do the procedure. Well she is no longer the bearer of the largest litter,in May a woman from Mali gave birth to 9 babies (nonomom) in Morocco. Now that record has been broken by a 37 year old woman from South Africa who already had a set of twins age 6. The doctors had told her after scans that she had 6 babies as they missed 4 which is understandable considering the cramped quarters. I can't even imagine having that many beings jostling around inside me, her husband says he is overjoyed but emotional. Everyone is doing fine so far but it will be a few months before the babies can go home.
