In days of yore activists would often chain themselves to objects they were trying to save,apparently that method didn't work as in recent times several different women from different countries have resorted to marrying the things they are inspired to save. A former teaching assistant in the UK married a tree in 2019 and changed her last name to Elder. In case none of that seems odd she also has a boyfriend who often goes with her to visit her hubby and watches her kiss and cuddle with the tree. It is unknown if they have had a treesome at this time.
