Imagine if Google was called BackRub instead of Google so if you were going to look for something would you be Backrubbing it? BackRub was the original name for Google because the founders built a search engine using back links to determine the importance of pages on the web. With that said what about Relentless? That was the first choice for Amazon's founder and if you Google Relentless.com it will take you to Amazon. His next choice was Cadabra, short for Abracadabra but a lawyer misheard it as cadaver so Amazon became the name as a nod to the world's largest river by volume suggesting the scale of "Earth's Biggest Bookstore" not to mention since Amazon started with an A it would come up first in the search engines of the 90s. Time to Backrub the Cadaver!
