Perhaps the 3 engineers who invented a synthetic fabric 80 years in the making didn't get the memo that we should be cutting down on man made materials as they both never go away and for the bonus round keep giving off harmful micro portions of themselves which in turn end up in our water/soil and foods. They still think this "wonder fabric" that mimics how a polar bear stays warm has a place in keeping humans warm without using more fossil fuels. Just guessing but it seems like the cons in the manufacturing then wearing of this synthetic material is probably doing more harm than good, but sure let's go for it and not consider the consequences once again.
