It all started with a group of friends making vegetable soup and brainstorming on how they could fill an hour slot in a student festival. They landed on the idea of making instruments out of the veggies then turning them into soup which they would serve to the audience, that was the beginning of the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra in 1998. Since that time they have created around 100 instruments, released 4 albums, and performed more than 300 concerts all over the world. Did I mention none of them were musicians?
