What's Love Got to Do with It

Since we're in flirting range of Valentine's Day why not look at how and when it is celebrated around the world? In Finland the The Day of Love is also celebrated on February 14 but they put their own spin on the occasion and call it Friend's Day so it is inclusive of anyone you love even if they're single. Though basically celebrated the same as Valentine's Day in Brazil it is called Lover's Day and takes place on June 13th around St. Anthony's Day who is known for granting blessings to young couples. In South Korea on February 14th  the women give the men flowers and chocolate. The men have to wait until March 14th to give the women gifts on what is known as White Day. But wait, there's more! On April 14th singles celebrate Black Day by eating black noodles. Whatever your love status is South Korea has it covered.
