What comes to mind when you think of Texas? or in this case texas. Norwegians have made texas into a slang word for crazy, not to be confused with the word for a crazy person which is gal. The lower case texas applies to things or situations that are wild, unpredictable, scary or exhilarating. One might wonder if Norway is somewhat obsessed with Texas as the also have weekly get togethers called fredagstaco which translates to taco Friday. I'm guessing Texas is probably enjoying their reputation for being the "wild" west.
