On the Books

Today's post explores a few of the more obscure traffic laws around the country. It's illegal to run out of gas in parts of Youngstown, Ohio. Cursing within earshot of someone isn't tolerated in Rockville, Maryland. Between the hours of 9p.m. and 4a.m. it is unlawful to drive by the same point within a 3 hour period in Westminster, Colorado. In Georgia's Quitman hamlet it is illegal to allow domestic fowl to run at large in the city...so the chicken can't legally cross the road!
