A 21 year old male went for a ride to remember but since he had been out drinking with his friends he didn't recall the first 150 miles of the 300 mile Uber trip. Since he couldn't say with 100% certainty that he had ordered the Uber driver to take him from the W. VA. area (where he had a room to stay for the night) to his full time home in New Jersey he had little to no grounds to contest the $1,635.93 charges that the ride produced. He also didn't know why he would have ordered Uber XL (a mini van able to seat at least 6 adults) instead of the regular Uber X which caused the total bill to be higher. I am betting he will file this under live and learn and maybe not drink with wild abandon next time until he has a ride lined up.
