A group of women activist in Oaxaca,Mexico recently proclaimed their love of trees and hate of illegal logging by marrying the trees. Though the marriages are not legally binding they were a commitment by the women to prevent the planet from further extermination. It may seem silly but if it gets the point across to even a few people it will be well worth the effort. It makes me wonder what happened to all the tree huggers? Did they give up the battle? Now would be an appropriate time for the Cree Indian quote,"Only when the last tree has been cut down, the last fish has been caught, and the last stream poisoned, will we realize we cannot eat money." To take that saying a little farther neither can we breath nor drink money, hear that trump and trumpers?
