It doesn't make much sense does it? In an apparent case of more money than sense a 32 year old Silicon Valley billionaire is paying $10,000 to be killed and have his brain preserved in the hope that one day it can be uploaded into a computer so he can live forever (digitally). If you think he may be crazy he isn't the only one,there are 24 other names on the list,dying to live forever. Call me old fashioned but I subscribe to the idea that thoughts are energy so a person's brain never really dies. Even if the technology does get to the point where a brain can be uploaded into a computer it doesn't sound like the kind of life I would like to live eternally. Gives a whole new meaning to being alone with your thoughts.
