I'm not sure if this woman gets paid for her works or if she just does them on her own,also the only things mentioned by the artist is penises (dicks),giant vaginas,cunts and pussies. She also claims that her work is meant to signify not feeling ashamed of our bodies and sexuality. She did a big red penis on Broome St. in New York which was painted over three days later. Her latest work in Sweden (a big blue penis) was kept for a week before being painted over after multiple complaints from neighbors. The spokesperson for the building said,"Culture and art are important in developing interesting urban environments." But we must also respect our neighbor's opinions. It seems like there must be a better way to get her point across,if that really is her point,after all if her "art" is painted over then the message isn't seen.
