In the Toilet

People were all worked up over a listing for a studio apartment in Sydney,Australia because the bathroom had glass walls and was renting for $380 a week ($247 US). The price does seem a little steep, but that may have to do with location. I can't figure out why it was the bathroom that bothered everyone, since it is a studio that pretty much implies a single person or a couple but people seemed to think the bathroom would make it awkward for having people over. How would you have people over when there is nowhere for them to sit, other than on the bed or the one chair? Plus other than what looks like a microwave I didn't see a cooking utility which would have been my concern and no storage for either food or clothes and at that price for rent I wouldn't think eating all meals out would be an option. Also from traveling to Australia I know not all places offer private bathrooms,so even having one with glass walls, next to both the kitchen and the bedroom seem like more of a plus than a minus.
