There will most likely be a lot of people who think ending fireworks as part of the Fourth of July celebration isn't patriotic but those who feel that way ask yourself a few questions before condemning the idea. Is it patriotic to honor the veterans who have served to protect our freedom? if you answered yes then consider the impact it has on those veterans with PTSD not to mention the environmental impact fireworks have, they pollute rivers and also kill the animals who ingest the waste from the fireworks. They also disorient bees and birds, still not convinced? Do your beloved pets enjoy the noise and explosions? If none of those things bother you, don't you find them repetitive and quite frankly boring? Oh,and fireworks are not American, sure some are manufactured here currently but they didn't originate here but in China, then they were brought to the new world from England,so that doesn't really wash either. Time to rethink the celebration of the 4th of July.
