As mentioned in yesterday's post September is the most common month for birthdays in the US and there is actually sound reasoning behind that claim. Going back nine months leaves the time of conception to be in December when people often have time off from work and are celebrating the holidays and quite possibly the colder weather, simple. September 9th is the most common birthday in the US with September 19th being the 2nd most common,9 of the 10 most common birthdays fall between the 9th and the 20th. Another bonus is that fall babies, from September to November live longer lives with October being the longest though scientists have no idea why. On the other end of the spectrum the least common birthday is December 25th with even fewer births than February 29th. Who knew?
