Whether a person considers 13 unlucky or not doesn't depend solely on if they are superstitious it also depends on where they live for instance in several Asian countries 13 is fine but 4 is the bugaboo as it sounds like the word for death,but that flips the other way in other cultures where 4 leaf clovers are lucky. The two least known unlucky numbers are 17 and 39. In Italy 17 is their 13 because the Roman numerals for 17 are XVII which can be rearranged to VIXI which is Italian for "my life is over" or "I have died". And bringing up the rear is 39 which is taboo in Afghanistan though the reason isn't entirely clear though some claim 39 translates to "morda gow" meaning dead cow. Isaac Newton felt so strongly about the power of the number 7 that he added an extra color to visible color spectrum which stayed in place until recently when Pride flags finally dropped the 7th color.
