The Darwin Awards honor Charles Darwin and commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it in a most spectacular way. For instance in Italy earlier this year a 46 year old man broke into a Supermarket and decided he was thirsty so he pulled a bottle of water from a stack causing it to collapse on him. His body was found under the bottles the next day.
In Maryland authorities were called to do a welfare check on a 49 year old man. He was found dead of a snake bite. It seems he lived alone with 124 various types of exotic snakes all in habitat enclosures. So were there at one time 125 snakes? and the killer was missing,or did he get bit and put the snake away before seeking medical attention? No one will ever know.
