Today's title sounds a bit Scrooge like and even though I'm already tired of the holiday crap the title is actually a mash up of Christmas song titles. "Silent Night" has a legend about mice chewing the church organ but the real story is less dramatic. An Austrian priest composed a poem,"Stille Nacht" which an acquaintance composed a melody for on the guitar. As we now know it caught on in a big way. Next up is "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town",having lost his brother in September the writer of this song wasn't in festive spirits but had agreed to write a children's Christmas song. While riding the subway he thought of his mother's warnings about St.Nick monitoring his behavior and knocked out this favorite in 15 minutes.
