If we were keeping score the crows would be winning by quite a lot since they not only adapt to new situations they also use them to their advantage. Nests recovered from the Netherlands and Belgium showed how the birds had turned lemons into lemonade by using the anti-bird spikes meant to keep them from nesting on building to not only build their nest but also to add protection over the nest to keep predators out. What humans fail to consider in their equations is that the crows have been watching humans longer than we've been watching them plus they not only put that knowledge to work they also pass it on. Collectively they are probably smarter than some people wandering around doing stupid people stuff.
